When I went to Quest for blood work, I was surprised to experience my first contactless check it. It was creepy. Nobody in the room, just me and a couple of check in machines. I had made an appointment in advance. They have you scan in your ID and insurance cards, as well as input your address, phone, etc . . .
I found the experience off-putting and creepy. A harried technician came out at the appointed time. She looked frazzled. I was kind with her and gently guided her on the best way to take my blood as I'm hard to draw blood from. Fortunately, she was highly skilled and got it the first time. This is why I give Quest three stars instead of one.
Hopefully, this is not an indication of things to come. While I waited for my appointment, two more people arrived and could not get the check-in machines to work for them. I tried helping, but they were too flustered. One left and one stayed, asking for assistance when the technician summoned me back for the blood work. read more
