Super cool, classy, thoughtful establishment that features exceptional beers--wide swath of styles in every delivery method possible--draft, can, bottle pour--multiple pour sizes available for drafts, and you'll be certain to get every beer in it's appropriate glass--a true beer lover's Mecca. I saw they had a bourbon country release event here right before Thanksgiving and made sure to get here to sample those glorious limited time offerings. I would say that this is a true beer person's beer bar, though--a major positive for me, but just something to keep in mind. They do have some wine and no food (though welcoming to your ordering food/bringing in food). Feels very much like you are here to drink and appreciate beer and chat and...that's it. I can't help but feel the spot needs one more element... either board games, or a jukebox... even a TV (though I don't see it as a TV kind of bar). It was comfy inside but super quiet and staid. It was a rainy night, so perhaps a more crowded and festive night would have supplied its own vibe. As enjoyable as it was, just felt like it needed one more element to put it over the top. But overall I look forward to coming back, especially when I'm jonesing for some top notch beer! read more
