The owner walks a tight rope, between pretension and pride for these incredibly delicious Korean dishes. Make an ignorant comment mistaking these dishes for anything other than Korean is a big mistake. You will be corrected curtly if there's such a word. Forgive my American ignorance. Bottom line is I love the food here. I can get past someone with a slight attitude/chip on the shoulder/slightly elitist attitude trying to distance themselves with affiliations with Japanese or Chinese food. The food makes up for any issues. Service is a little inconsistent, but anything worth anything is worth a little wait. read more
