The night we went they were short staffed and busy however the servers did an amazing job and we didn't feel this lacking in our service at all. Our server was very friendly and helpful. It was our first time and because of the name I was expecting something fancier however it was more like a pub vibe. We ordered the Caesar Salad to start. The description said it was made with baby kale but it came out with baby spinach. I'm sure it was a substitute but it was still very good. The dressing was delicious. We ordered the seafood pasta and steak frites. The pasta was okay however the "seafood" consisted of a few small shrimp and very tiny tiny scallops. The steak frites we ordered was supposed to be medium rare but it was more medium well. Our server agreed with us and immediately sent it back and got us a new one that was cooked perfectly. However, I'm not sure what they season the steak with but it had a strange bitter taste I couldn't get past. Our server is ended up discounting one of our drinks which was nice as we didn't ask for anything. All in all the food was just okay, service was amazing and the ambiance was unexpected. read more
