Yaaay, another new Dacula business opens it's doors!!!
If comparing Riverside Pizza to similar pizza places like Papa John's, Domino's & Little Caesars... you will find them on par or slightly better. Unfortunately they are not very fluid with delivering pizza's quickly like Little Caesar's, whom they seem to have modeled their business after.
They were surprisingly busy for a two week old location, but that proved to show some flaws. Myself and a few other patrons experienced long wait times for pizzas like the Meatzza, leaving much room for improvement. Also, be careful of the extra add on's that will jack your pizza price up quickly... like paying a few bucks extra for "thin crust". Oh, and a 2 liter soda was $2.50!!! Better off just walking next door to Kroger where Coke 2 liters are $1.25.
Overall I would say the meatzza pizza is 3.5 stars and rate the cheese & pepperoni a 3. With a little improvement on speed, the overall experience could easily be 4 stars (which is way better than I would normally give a take-out only pizzeria). I wish this location much success, because the pizza indeed is a tasty and inexpensive dinner option and the crew seems very nice. TIP: Take advantage of the in-store BOGO coupon deals. read more
