My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Riverview Café on 119 Hall Point Rd, Sneads Ferry, NC, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, we were seated promptly. Our chosen table, located next to the pie display, might not be ideal for those watching their weight, but it added a charming touch to the atmosphere. Service, though a bit slower than expected, was understandable due to our server having to multitask with both checkouts and waiting on tables. However, the staff remained friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. One unique touch that caught our attention was the substitution of bread with Hush Puppies. These delightful morsels were a pleasant surprise and set the tone for the rest of our meal. I opted for the Fried Oysters with French Fries and Coleslaw. The oysters were fried to a perfect golden brown, and the fries struck the right balance between crispiness and tenderness. The coleslaw added a flavorful and refreshing element to the dish. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Bacon Cheeseburger with French Fries. The double-patty burger, separated by a slice of cheese, and topped with additional cheese, bacon, lettuce, and tomato, left her raving about it being one of the best burgers she's had. To cap off our meal, we indulged in a slice of Lemon Meringue pie, which was nothing short of delicious. The perfect ending to a satisfying lunch.
