I made 2 purchases in May 2023, one was a very large purchase, while on vacation in New Orleans. I was in a rush to get to a boat tour and the saleswoman, Gigi, said she would FedEx me everything not to worry. i wanted to come back another time but she insisted she would FedEx me everything at the end of the week when I would be home. I never received anything. I tried calling the store and they just kept hanging up the phone. I tried calling and number I found online but they said they were just a distribution center. I put in a claim with my credit card company, and they told me that I couldn't get a refund because the store claimed I took the stuff with me. I had a picture of all the items that Gigi told me to take to make sure I receive everything I purchased and in front of it was a paper she was going to fill out that clearly said FedEx on it. After many times going back and forth and a couple of months later I was finally able to talk to a person, Thomas. He was handling customer service. He tells me that they are putting in a claim with Fedex since I didn't receive it and that this is not my issue. So I said fine send me a refund. Meanwhile I am still going back and forth with my bank. Instead of issuing a refund Thomas ships me a package, months later. I asked him what he was sending, and he texted me a list. I compared it to what I ordered and told him that this was not correct. It was missing 2 items and others were substituted without my consent. I told him to just send me a refund as they were getting insurance from FedEx on it but he sent me the box with missing items and unapproved substitutes. As soon as I received the package, I took it back to FedEx and paid $40 for shipping. The manager, Tony signed for the receipt of the returned package. It has been 5 months since I made the purchase and still no refund. They have the items back and I am out a lot of money. I tried calling Thomas and his number says he is not available. Now I am trying to get the manager Tony to get my refund issued. Please do not purchase anything from this place! I was in a rush and didn't take the time to check this place out before. If I had I would have seen all the terrible reviews and ran! It is Nov. 8th and I just spoke to the manager, Tony who said he didn't know who I was, but he was the one who signed for the package that I returned. He said he would look into it. Only way I found the number to reach him directly was by looking at another Yelp review, so thanks for that Yelp people! I will update this again. read more
