Mazal enterprises manufacturers various skin care lines including Royal Bee . These stores all operate in the same way - pushy, unethical salespeople who will feed you lies and manipulate you into buying their crappy products. They prey on older people or those who they think they can take advantage of. They often overcharge or double charge you and then argue they are giving you a discount when they show you the online retail price which is ridiculously high. But that's the point- the online retail prices are not actual prices and no one buys their crap online. The "retail" prices listed are fake and there to make you think they are giving you a discount. There was a story of a Royal Bee store in Katy TX that scammed an elderly woman out of $10,000 worth of crap Earlier this month. They tried to bill her over $90K but her bank stopped payment. In short, these people are con artists. The skin care lines owned by Mazal keep changing names after the complaints pile up but there are tons of complaints to be found. read more

I literally felt like I was accosted by a sales girl from this place while at a mall in Chicago. They run up to you while you're walking and give you a single sample of cream and drag you inside insisting that it'll only take a minute. They then slap cream on your face and tell you it's 600.00 dollars and insist you purchase it? This was a horrible experience and on top of everything else, it's a scam! I see those commercials on tv for Plexaderm and I swear it's the same crap only the cost is extremely higher. So stupid. I had an 11 o'clock appointment. Store did not open till 11:15. I have had facials before and this facial felt very rushed. Once she was done she began her sales pitch - ridiculous pricing and wouldn't take no foe an answer. She began with 3,000.00 for the lower package and 7,000.00 for a more advanced package. I made 2 purchases in May 2023, one was a very large purchase, while on vacation in New Orleans. I was in a rush to get to a boat tour and the saleswoman, Gigi, said she would FedEx me everything not to worry. i wanted to come back another time but she insisted she would FedEx me everything at the end of the week when I would be home. I never received anything. I tried calling the store and they just kept hanging up the phone. I tried calling and number I found online but they said they were just a distribution center. I put in a claim with my credit card company, and they told me that I couldn't get a refund because the store claimed I took the stuff with me. I had a picture of all the items that Gigi told me to take to make sure I receive everything I purchased and in front of it was a paper she was going to fill out that clearly said FedEx on it. After many times going back and forth and a couple of months later I was finally able to talk to a person, Thomas. He was handling customer service. He tells me that they are putting in a claim with Fedex since I didn't receive it and that this is not my issue. So I said fine send me a refund. Meanwhile I am still going back and forth with my bank. Instead of issuing a refund Thomas ships me a package, months later. I asked him what he was sending, and he texted me a list. I compared it to what I ordered and told him that this was not correct. It was missing 2 items and others were substituted without my consent. I told him to just send me a refund as they were getting insurance from FedEx on it but he sent me the box with missing items and unapproved substitutes. As soon as I received the package, I took it back to FedEx and paid $40 for shipping. The manager, Tony signed for the receipt of the returned package. It has been 5 months since I made the purchase and still no refund. They have the items back and I am out a lot of money. I tried calling Thomas and his number says he is not available. Now I am trying to get the manager Tony to get my refund issued. Please do not purchase anything from this place! I was in a rush and didn't take the time to check this place out before. If I had I would have seen all the terrible reviews and ran! It is Nov. 8th and I just spoke to the manager, Tony who said he didn't know who I was, but he was the one who signed for the package that I returned. He said he would look into it. Only way I found the number to reach him directly was by looking at another Yelp review, so thanks for that Yelp people! I will update this again. read more

As another reviewer stated, the guys working here stand in front of the entrance and give out free samples of soaps, then try and lure you inside to sell skin care products and cosmetics. That said, in our experience, where a lot of the crap they try and sell in kiosks at malls simply doesn't work, the products they sell here at Royal Bee, at least in our case, are effective. They sampled some cream for us that firms the area under your eyes and reduces fine lines and wrinkles - and the stuff our sales guy let us try really did work and the results were noticeable and impressive. He also applied a cream that exfoliates the skin. Again, the results were noticeable. He almost had us hooked, but we were starving and we wanted to go grab a bite and discuss whether or not we wanted to purchase any of the stuff he'd shown us, as the products weren't necessarily cheap. Quite frankly, we also wanted to comparison shop on the internet to ensure we were being treated fairly. The guy who was dealing with us (said his name was Mike and gave us his business card and number) didn't really hard sell, but he did basically refuse to let us leave without making a sale if possible, offering more and more discounts and incentives as we kept explaining we wanted to go, then return later to make the purchase. In the end, he sold us a face cream that was brand new but came in a slightly torn box for 1/2 price, and he threw in a free bar of soap. We also have his card and number for future purchases. After leaving here, I did a search for the cream he'd sold us. It turns out the price he sold it to us for really was 1/2 price vs. what the manufacturer was selling it for on the internet, and it was cheaper than we found it for even on sites like Amazon and eBay. In other words, Mike got a sale and we really did get a great deal. We've used it already since getting home and it does seem to work just as well as it did during the demonstration he did for us in the store that day. I am afraid I went into this store, after being handed a sample of something, with the young woman saying she had a product for my under eye puffiness and dark circles. The product she put on my eye actually "worked." She then tried to sell me a face scrub. She offered me both products for a ridiculous amount of money. I was so pleased with my eye, that I bought it. She then had a "nice" young man do a treatment on my face. It did "work." Thankfully I left the store without buying those products. He told me if I came back that day, he would give me all the products for one price; reduce the cost by what I paid for the eye treatment. Within a short time, all improvements were gone. I used the eye treatment I purchased at home. Not sure what they put in their sample, but definitely not the same as what they put on in their store. Most of the employees are from Israel and in general are very nice, but extremely post and seeming overpriced creams. They will also bargain with you on the creams. "Are you married or are you happy?" (insert uncomfortable chuckle here) was the first thing two separate sales reps, same company) completely separate stores, casually dropped as I walked in to smell the soap samples.) I was sad, tears in my eyes. I was clearly the chump they were looking for. I am in town visiting. I was having an emotional day, was walking in the quarter, when offered a free sample to of soap (which the assistant sales girl in training insisted upon wrapping up fro me.) When I get into the store suddenly I'm sitting down trying out an under eye cream, it did seem effective initially. I said I'd consider and return. I had almost forgotten when I approached a second store with a new salesman, clearly the same company as he used the same stupid line (are you happy today or married?) clearly it comes with the training. Again, I was emotional, in a low state of mind, not thinking clearly if at all. I was undoubtedly the chump this man had been waiting for all day. I went inside and told him that the other store applied it under one eye. When I asked him guess which, he guessed the wrong one. He proceeded to put cream on the other and honestly it was effective. Then said if I purchased the cream at $400 (charged me $440 after grabbing the card from my hand and demanding my pin) he'd give me one thermal light session. It appeared to make the redness in my skin disappear which was incredibly exciting. He wanted me to own this light, felt I deserved it. The initial price was $7,000. I explained i'm a teacher who just used my rent $ for cream in hope to get my face back) The more I explained I literally did not have $7000 the lower the price went, the deals changed. By the end he offered one in a "destroyed" box for $3,000. I read the same exact story from another lady online, to the tee. Many people report getting home on vacation and finding no cream in their kit. Some say the cream in the store was a different color. Basically the end game is to sell the $7,000 ultra infrared light, even if it's in a damaged box for $3,000. The directions online say apply cream daily. However, in store they were quite adamant that the cream be utilized only once a week, otherwise it is ineffective. My guess is they know that tourists will be home by the time the second application goes on and learn they've been played. I've read several reviews that claim the cream is a different color which they only see once they've left town. Most have have zero luck reaching anyone at the store after these tourists leave. Radio silence from the customer service or team of sales scammers. They are playing on peoples need to look younger and feel better about themselves, I must say never in my life have I seen such aggressive sales tactics delivered in a way that didn't hit me until a few hours after I spent half my rent (he knew this and pushed me to call friends and family for more help. based on the incredible miraculous almost rare results. Many more people claim there cream was actually empty upon returning home. Too many to make this a coincidence. Don't stop to smell the soap, these people don't deserve the energy. They get your attention with a free soap sample but then ask if you want to test out a magical eye cream that is supposed to get rid of your under eye bags. It's only $600!
