The Running Horse Inn is an absolutely hidden gem in the country! A peaceful, quiet B&B nestled in the woods with a beautiful creek in the back. When you arrive, Jan greets you like family and her home is so beautiful and she has seen to every detail. The rooms are large are wonderfully decorated. Every one different and Spotless!!! We loved looking out our windows to the beautiful scenery, a pond, elk, deer, turkey, moose and maybe an occasional bear! The breakfast was phenomenal every morning and our stay was too! Jan saw to every detail and made us feel like family! If you are in the Lolo National Forest/ Bitterroot Mountains area... this is the place to stay!!!! We didn't want to leave! read more
