I tried brunch here years ago and wasn't too impressed so was a little hesitant when friends invited us out to dinner here. I'm happy to report or dinner experience was much better! But we were seated quickly and though the restaurant is an open space I felt like we were place far enough away from others for privacy. I like the minimalist style of the restaurant and service was fairly quick considering we had a large party and it being a Friday night.
I wasn't super impressed with the beet salad. The beets tasted fine I just thought they were canned beets on a plate with garnishes. I loved the scallops, they were almost perfectly seared just missing the crispy top but otherwise perfectly seasoned and very good with the carrot rice underneath. The beef short rib was flavorful and tender with a nice sauce that paired well and didn't distract from the rib. Mashed potatoes were a good choice of side to balance out the richness. Overall I would try dinner again. read more
