I heard a new Indian market opened up in Commack, so I wanted to check it out. It's a large grocery type store with a food counter in the back with a seating area. Looks like they're still setting some of that up. The store has everything! Produce, snacks, staple items, frozen foods a Halal meat market. The employees are all very friendly. I picked up a few items on my 1st stop, and had a chai tea, but I will be back. They have tons!!! of spices, bulk items etc. pretty much anything & everything you would need to stock an Indian kitchen. I just love trying new things and learning & developing my taste for all kinds of different cuisines. I had a lot of fun shopping! As it seemed others in the store that day did too, I overheard "let's try that or oh I love that" as they reached for items on the shelves. I can't wait to go back! The prices were reasonable.
