Especially in late summer and early fall, they sell big bags of heirloom tomatoes for around $3. I've found delicious squash, apples, pears, peppers, and more goodies there in large quantities for $5-$8. Since their trucks go out east so regularly you're pretty much guaranteed to find fresh and locally grown fruits and veggies at the farmstand every day. It's convenient to get there as well, they have a big parking lot, and they take credit and debit cards. Don't underestimate this farmstand- it is truly a hidden gem!

I think he's got a few baked items too. Prices could do with a little competition, but like I said, this one is all about the convenience. I especially recommend checking it out to those waiting for a transfer on Suffolk County Transit lines 27, 33, 45, 54, or the 62. Open Wednesdays, 7am- 3pm from July 16th to mid-November.

There were you pick berries, seating areas with shade, a cafe with a Farmstand and a playground for young kids. The vibe was a toddler mom's dream to come here and not need to go all the way out east. The staff were so incredibly nice and friendly. The you pick area was perfect because it wasn't miles long but plenty to choose from. There was a washing station to wash and eat your fruit. I also highly recommend their lemonades. This is now my go to spot for you pick and a nice farm experience.
