Stopped by on a random Saturday for brunch and it turned out to be a quiet little spot. We were the only customers there the entire time. We ordered at the counter, grabbed a seat, and the staff brought the food to our table when it was ready. The space was clean, and the complimentary hot tea served in a flask was a nice touch.
We ordered the Falafel Plate, Chicken Shawarma Sandwich Combo, Chicken Shawarma Bowl, and Shish Tawook Bowl. They started us off with warm complimentary buns and dip. The buns were decent. The falafel was amazing, fresh, straight from the stove, and full of flavor. The chicken shawarma sandwich combo was also enjoyable. It came with a refillable fountain drink, which was convenient. The wrap was sliced into bite-sized pieces and served with pickles, garlic sauce, and a spicy tahini-style sauce that paired really well. The zaatar fries were especially delicious.
After the appetizers and wrap, we had high expectations for the bowls, but they were a huge disappointment. Just by looking at them, the chicken seemed very dry but we still gave it a try. Unfortunately, it didn't taste fresh or flavorful. The texture was dry and fibrous, and the large chunks made it less enjoyable. That said, the portion sizes were generous and we ended up packing both bowls. The bowl itself, without the chicken, was actually good
Parking is shared with nearby stores, so it's easy to find a spot. Overall, the appetizers and wraps were great, but the bowls didn't meet expectations. Might try other menu items next time. read more
