While renovations have occurred, I found very similar instances to others experiences here. Dozens of expired items (leading up from 2017) on the shelves and extensively long checkout lines. Prices seem to not always ring up correctly at the register causing even more time waiting at checkout. Not a great experience by any means, especially in comparison to other chain stores that provide technology to make shopping more efficient, like Stop&Shop that has both self checkout and scanner guns... there was self checkout here at one point, but it was removed years ago.
Store does look nicer and cleaner since the recent renovation but nothing that is above the rest.
Reason for a three star rating instead of two is for the store manager, Lee, who goes above and beyond in customer service. Very thorough, kind, and friendly and I really appreciate his attention to detail and taking action on customer concerns.
Overall, it's an okay place to shop and now the most decent in Randolph (I used to frequent the area and Sudbury Farms was always my favorite place to shop), but if you can go elsewhere, I wouldn't do my weekly grocery shopping at this store. read more
