On a Friday evening, this spot was absolutely mobbed! The bar was full, one 'two top' and one 'four top' were open and they filled up immediately. Clearly a popular spot.
Our waitress was very personable and although she impressed upon us how busy they were, our food arrived in a reasonable time. French onion soup was our starter and just what you would expect.
The breading on chicken parm is nice and crunchy, the sauce slightly sweet. It comes with a side of pasta and no veg. The baked stuffed cod special was tasty and a good sized portion. The Italian zucchini was good, well cooked, lightly sauced, the mashed potatoes were salty. Specials menu has no prices. Ask.
Altogether it was a very nice visit. Good pub food, nice clean restroom, full bar, pleasant staff. They offer take-away as well. Just give them a call. read more
