Spent the weekend at Shoalnook Cabins (Friday and Saturday night). Really enjoyed our stay. Cabins are relatively small but have everything you need. We would definitely recommend if you're looking for a quasi-rustic rural getaway. Customer service was great. Very hands-off. Spoke with the owners via telephone a couple times... exceptionally friendly. River was fairly high while we were there. Access to the river was a little tough - bank was super muddy and slippery. Use caution. We found quite a ticks on us and our equipment, so pack heavy duty bug spray. Bring your own firewood - we couldn't find much in town or around on the property. Overall, good stay.
