We made the epic mistake of purchasing a system from Superior Solar a few years ago, which now seems to be Solar Source. We've had non-stop issues with squirrels chewing lines, which is not covered and when we called to inquire we were told "Oh yeah, that happens all the time." Had we been told that up front we likely would have taken a different route. The PVC pipe also burst, and again, was not covered under warranty. Of course the service calls to come out and look at these items were also not covered under warranty, meaning we've had to add insult to injury by paying to be told items are not covered under warranty (which honestly doesn't seem to cover a single item). We just found out that the install also went through the roof with no sealing around it, causing us nearly $3,000 in roof damage/repair. At this point we are considering just ripping out the entire system as it has cost us nearly as much in repairs as we paid for the original system. read more
