I met up with this vendor at the North Park Festival of Arts. I tried two items: the shredded pork and papa empanada in a corn shell at $2, and the Beef Stuffed Papa or savory and ground beef and mashed potato for $3 (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/spanglish-eats-san-diego?select=-QGgX33Rog7lWeShNX-qFg#c0ne01t04X64NHfwcYjOVg).
The pork and papa corn shell was okay. It tasted good, but the pork inside was not only minimal, but it was a on the dry side (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/spanglish-eats-san-diego?select=-QGgX33Rog7lWeShNX-qFg#JSUsDOSj0aFb3ErB8pc1Jg). Overall, it was rather small, I would have to admit. The corn shell was nice. It was a little crunchy and tasted good. The beef stuffed papa was very good, but just as the pork one, it did not hace enough ground beef in it to thoroughly enjoy it (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/spanglish-eats-san-diego?select=-QGgX33Rog7lWeShNX-qFg#cuoWtMX2KBQZBpd4dUiZCA). What little it had, tasted very good, so I would suggest they add more of it. The potato surrounding the beef was good. It did not have much texture, even the fried portion, but it was some good mashed potatoes.
