I'd been wanting to try the cannoli from St. Philip's Bakery for a while, and I finally stopped by! I picked up 2 classic chocolate cannolis, 2 pistachio cannolis. and 2 ricotta lobstertails
Price & Size: Cannolis were around $4 each, not exactly cheap, but they were quite large.
Taste: The shells were crispy, and the ricotta filling was smooth, not too sweet, and overall tasty. The lobstertails were also crispy and creamy.
Verdict: After trying the 3 most famous cannoli spots in Vaughan, this one ranks 3rd for me. They were good, but nothing mind-blowing--I wouldn't go out of my way just for these. Of course, this is subjective, so this might be someone else's favorite!
Bakery & Service: The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to browse. The staff was friendly, but I wish they had price tags on display.
Beyond cannoli, this bakery offers a huge selection of pastries, bread, cakes, deli meats, ready-to-eat meals, coffee, and gelato--so I'd love to come back and try more! read more
