Ill Include pictures with my review. Builds trust I think. So Stack is a Elite level Weil McClain dealer I found them on the Weil Mcclain Website. They are the only one with that level certification within 100 Miles. That caught my interest when I looked for a new company to service my boiler. The previous company was charging me for doing repairs that come to find out. I dont think they were doing at all. The previous company said my boiler was under recall and needed to be replaced. (That was not true after I called Weil Mcclain.) Anyhow Christopher came out. Installed bypass valves on my boiler system which I wanted to make servicing the boiler easier. No need to drain the whole house and then run around bleeding boilers for another hour when you fill it. The valves they used were very high quality 1/4 turn knife blade ones. They will last a lot longer than I will probably. So that problem fixed. Then I needed a maintenance kit and cleaning. The prices were up front too. During the cleaning my front door broke. So He had to go get the part. Christopher knew who to call and who had it in stock. An hour later he was back. Part installed. This time I payed close attention Christopher. He answered many questions I had about my boiler. How does this work? what is this loop for? What are your thoughts on Heat Pumps? The guy is awesome. I also asked if I need to have HIM come out every time. He said "not really" We talked about Stack and how they have what I would call a "Training university" in a separate building where the technicans are trained before they are sent out with seasoned installers. So Stack takes care of their people and gets them proper training. Anyhow during the cleaning of the boiler heat exchanger Christopher did a really thourough job. Made sure that the whole heat exchanger fins were cleaned. Every single one of them. He also described (because I asked) everything he was doing. We talked about things to watch for. He told me how to PROPERLY bleed a radiator system. Someone previously told me the EXACT opposite way. So I basically got a brand new boiler serviced by a weil mcclain Elite level retailer so we are about 2 months until the boiler will need to be turned on but you know what I wont be worried about my boiler this season. Even if I do have a problem I know who to call. I had a really enjoyable experience and much better than the other two companies I was using previously. Stack Did a great job and I will absolutely use them again for my annual maintenance. read more
