I went to the Stray Dog Café for New Year's precisely for the following reasons: fun, great parking, a great menu -- and the fourth, most important reason, their rescue efforts for dogs. My brother's disabled pitbull mix, Radar, died about a week ago, and spending money at this local venue felt like a meaningful tribute to Radar as I entered 2026. I only knew Radar since September, but I instantly fell in love with his gentleness, gratitude, and perseverance. Being here felt like a small but intentional way to honor him. I am so delighted to support a restaurant that cares about the wellbeing of animals, and that love is clearly reflected in everything they do. I had a delicious Impossible burger and a great vodka soda, and the service was excellent. This is a great place to meet people, with a welcoming and lively atmosphere. I hope to come back and give trivia night a try, and it's also a fantastic venue to watch sports -- so many screens and comfy chairs.
