I ordered the Pork Zha Jiang Chili Oil Biang Biang and it just wasn't what I was expecting at all and difficult to consume... I love all these ingredients but the ratios were off for my palate. If the chili oil had been cut with anything to make it more of a sauce or dressing then I think I could have jumped on board with this dish, but to have noodles and ground meat swimming in a bowl half filled with oil was too much. I was hoping the bock choy or bean sprouts could help balance the textures, but what little vegetable that was present was shredded so small it was more of a garnish to the oil and starch. I liked the profile of the hand crafted noodle; it was long, wide and thick with a soft chew. I wish I could have eaten more of the noodles but the excessive oil did not sit well with me so I have to pass early on this one. The food truck is in a nice location joining a pod with other trucks and a brewery. The outdoor seating of the pod is well covered and insulated making for a pleasant experience on a cold, winter day. read more
