It pains me to leave a negative review. However, I do not have an alternative as I provided the business an opportunity to take corrective action and they failed. I had an appointment on 2/8 for highlights and haircut. I was a patron for approximately 2 1/2 years.I was scheduled with a new stylist. I asked if she had my color on file and showed an image of what I was looking for in a cut. I requested about 6" of the length cut, long layers and to frame my face. It took about 3 hours to complete the color and cut. I had to leave before my hair was dried, so perhaps the stylist would have noticed how poor my cut was if she could have viewed it after drying. It looks like I cut my own hair choppy, and uneven. There are no layers, but it's not all one length either. The color on my roots look brassy and reddish in color, this what not my usual color. I had to go out of town and I debated on going back or going somewhere else when I returned. Because I had good experiences in the past I decided to go back. That appointment was today, 2/20. I took off work early to be there. I arrived 10 minutes early. The receptionist asked me to take a seat and the stylist would be with me soon. At about 5 minutes to my appointment I was again told the stylist was finishing up and would be with me soon. The stylist then came to the counter to check out a customer. She checked out the customer , she did not acknowledge my presence and then went to the back again. I could see she was working on another customer. I continued to wait for another 20 minutes. She was still working with another customer. At this point I felt as though I was not being valued or respected as a customer. I decided to leave, very disappointed. Mostly because I was so excited about the prospect of fixing this mess I am living with. My hair looks so bad I don't feel comfortable walking out my door. I will have to live with it until I can find a new salon. The salon just sent a text apologizing and offered a refund. As I appreciate the apology for what they are calling a "mixup".
