Oof, I know, first review for them and it's three stars. They're a brand new restaurant, so take it with a grain of salt.
I heard about a brand new sushi place opening up where Aloha BBQ used to be, so came to check it out. Menu looked to be ripped straight from Koko Grill, so maybe it's a similar template from online? Idk. I ordered the bulgogi beef and the honeymoon roll. Didn't take a picture of the beef, and it didnt look all that great, but it had good flavor. The roll looks nice enough I guess, but my first thought was it sure looked small for the price. (I'm comparing to other restaurants in the area.) Taste wise, quality also did not measure up to Fujiyama or Koko Grill. Seaweed used was chewy as heck, and just overall flavors were not as good as I know freshly made sushi should be.
Could be that they're just going through a few kinks as they're getting up and running, but I can only judge them on what they served me. For that, three stars. read more
