This was a really delicious meal. We got some garlic edamame, a few rolls, and two drinks. The rolls were fresh, the fish was not fishy at all, and the rice was perfectly cooked. If I recall correctly, we got the aloha roll, Arizona rolls, and volcano rolls. Those are usually our go-to when we order sushi anywhere and these hit the spot! We went there on a week day around 4:30 pm and it was quiet. Our food came out pretty quick. The woman who took our order was friendly and greeted us right when we came in. Oof, I know, first review for them and it's three stars. They're a brand new restaurant, so take it with a grain of salt. I heard about a brand new sushi place opening up where Aloha BBQ used to be, so came to check it out. Menu looked to be ripped straight from Koko Grill, so maybe it's a similar template from online? Idk. I ordered the bulgogi beef and the honeymoon roll. Didn't take a picture of the beef, and it didnt look all that great, but it had good flavor. The roll looks nice enough I guess, but my first thought was it sure looked small for the price. (I'm comparing to other restaurants in the area.) Taste wise, quality also did not measure up to Fujiyama or Koko Grill. Seaweed used was chewy as heck, and just overall flavors were not as good as I know freshly made sushi should be. Could be that they're just going through a few kinks as they're getting up and running, but I can only judge them on what they served me. For that, three stars. read more

Now that fast food places are charging 13 bucks or more for a combo this seems like reasonable pricing and you get a healthy meal. Service is quick usually unless it's super busy. I ordered the ramen and my girlfriend ordered the poke bowl. It came out to just under 50$ with a tip. The restaurant was very quiet and it felt like I had to talk in a hushed voice. The food was less than desired. My ramen came out very greasy with noodles that seemed comparable to instant noodles. The pork was tasty but that was about all I ate. My girlfriend's poke looked very tasty and the fish was good. She ended up not eating the rice since it soaked up so much sauce and became saucy. The sushi here is very fresh and unlike some places that try to get away with giving you paper-thin slices of sashimi, their slices were generous. The only thing that disappointed me was that pretty much all the cooked options (my companion cannot eat raw fish) contained gluten. Also the salmon in my sashimi sampler was still frozen and if I'm paying $25.95 for a 12 piece sashimi dish, I don't want the fish to still be frozen. I would absolutely return here, but not with my guest today since she was basically only able to eat a salad (which they still served with a sauce that contained gluten on the side, so the staff needs more info on which sauces/dishes contain gluten).
