For the past week I have been seeing this establishment on my tiktok page, every scroll was a video promoting their sushirittos and so I got interested as it was nearby.
I like how this restaurant is in a shopping center and there was a lot of parking available. Growing up in a city I absolutely HATED the street side parking, so I was excited that this was easily accessible.
Coming in I was greeted and I sat down quickly, got my drink and punched in a few orders. I typically only eat a few certain things as I'm allergic to fish but like to indulge in other seafoods like octopus, shrimp, squid, etc. I wish I gotten more of the squid nigiri, it literally tasted like liquid gold. I definitely saw a couple of my orders on the belt and I felt bad they made new ones but I do appreciate if the order is put into the system they'll still make it fresh regardless if it's on the belt. The belt was FILLED with different items that I wish I got to try. It made me jealous of those who can eat fish because look at the rice to meat ratio
It's a bit thinner from other sushi places I have been to but considering the little amount of rice definitely makes up for it. I also am surprised that I had no allergic reaction, usually at places like this I always have a reaction due to the cross contamination. I had a Benadryl ready on standby, but to my surprise I didn't need it. By far in all my time traveling from the east coast down to the west coast and trying the other restaurants in Southern California this was by far the cleanest and prettiest sushi restaurant.
While waiting for my order of nigiris to come out I looked up and saw how gorgeous the layout was. That was a nice touch to my first impression here. I was a little bummed to see that it was canned boba, but they gotta stick to their craft and that is the food. The sushiritto, maybe because I customized it and I prefer to not have any of the spicy mayo and unagi sauce it was kinda a let down, I would have to try it fried next time and maybe with some sauce would leave me a better impression!
Overall this was a nice experience read more
