This is the Target I first shopped and it will be the one I most remember.
It's set back at an outlot at Southland Center. It's opposite Macy's and across from the Meijer.
Getting in and parking can be tricky, the entrances are tight and if you aren't careful, you will hit a curb. A cross-section of Downriver shops here but I've never felt uneasy parking in the lot.
Inside the store is vast and deep. Women's clothing on your right. Staples are against the opposite wall and run towards the registers. Everything else is set up like your usual Target. It was hard to find clearance and if you come in the morning you will be dodging re-stockers, which can be a pain when they are blocking the places you want to go. Since most of them are sleep deprived, they can be oblivious to the customers. Make your presence known or you will be rolled over by a restock cart.
I like hitting this one because it has more clothes than the one in Woodhaven and I can also hit JcPenneys, which also has good deals. Plus the great Big Lots on Eureka is nearby and has almost the same hours, so you can get a lot of shopping done in a little time. read more
