I contracted Tiger Paws to come out and install a mini split in September (9/25/23). Mark Beatty, the owner, came out himself and brought Michael the technician out to install the mini split. I paid 1/2 of the total agree upon amount that day, not a small amount.
Work: They somehow managed to break a sizable chunk out of the hole where the hose to the condenser goes which Mark/TP says they will fix. Okay stuff happens..
When they went to pressurize and turn the system on, it froze up immediately. Then Michael informs me that the system isn't working properly. He finally has to leave.
They inform me finally that they are filing for a warranty claim and instead of replacing my unit, force me to wait for Daiken to process the warranty on my brand new equipment. This is insane. As a business owner, you don't force your customers to bear this impact, but Mark did.
It's now been 6 weeks since they first tried to install. I have been calling and texting daily trying to get an update the past 2 weeks. Finally get a response that Daiken processed the warranty, but then absolutely ghosted. See picture below. This is crazy and so frustrating.
