I initially took my car here for a routine oil change. They did it. Nothing was mentioned about it needing anything such as new tires or brakes. The next day my car started making a horrible knocking noise. I take the car back to them seeing as it wasn't making the noise previously. The mechanic takes it on a test drive, I point the noise out to him. He says "it sounds like a tire problem" we get back to the shop he says "yes you definitely need new tires" even goes on to explain why the tires would be causing this noise. So, trusting in his expert opinion since he is the mechanic and I am not, I okay the tires and then he throws in "oh man you definitely need new brakes and rotors too." I okay that as well. I pay a total of $850.10. I drive home. The noise is STILL happening AND later that evening we notice 3 out of 4 tires are flat. One is completely rim to pavement. 2 others are clearly low. I checked them with my own pressure gage. 20 PSI when they should have been 35. I call the shop request a manager. I get Ryan. I request a refund. I wanted him to take their tires back and just refund my money for them so I can take my business elsewhere bc I no longer trust these people. Ryan begs for "a chance to make things right" He comes to my house to fill the tires with air (which he does before letting me know he's downstairs.) He tried to tell me only one tire was flat and that the others all read 32 PSI. I said hmmm cause I checked them with my own gauge and I got 20 and 25 on another. He tries to say "well all gauges read differently" are you kidding me?!?!?! By 15 PSI?!?! What a joke. I agree to let him take the car and fix their mistake without a refund as long as he also fixes the initial knocking sound free of charge. Well. We find out they put the wrong size tires on my car and request the correct size. He calls and tells me he had to replace multiple other parts (that somehow didn't need replacing on the first tire change when they put the incorrect size on) and that I should pay 150 extra on top of the 850 I ALREADY PAID. I didn't need new tires. I wasn't shopping for new tires. No one mentioned I needed new tires during my oil change. The tires obviously weren't the issue with the knocking sound. He claims the mechanic "never heard the knocking sound" which he did hear it because he acknowledged that he did. Ryan also tried to tell me when the mechanic test drove my car that he did U turns and donuts all in their parking lot not realizing I rode in the car with the mechanic during the test drive. So he clearly was trying to lie about that as well. So, I got stuck with the bill even though I wanted the refund. AND he tried to charge 150 EXTRA for parts which he never called and asked permission to replace to begin with. Not to mention I didn't have a working car for 5 days, my wife had to leave work to take me to go pick up the car after he drove it to the shop and left me at home with no car. And when I refused to pay the 150 extra he got an attitude and said "just take your car. The keys are in it." He didn't even back it out of their bay. This manager told me multiple lies and excuses for their mistakes/shadiness/carelessness. I would have looked the other way if he just said " I'm so sorry we made a mistake" instead he talked to me like I was stupid, clearly trying to take advantage of a female who he thinks has no knowledge of cars. This business and their people are total scammers and I have reported them to the BBB. Please avoid this place. It has been a nightmare. Even if they agreed to refund my total bill it still wouldn't add up to the amount of stress and inconvenience that they caused me. read more
