The TJ Maxx in Placerville, CA, is one of my favorite places to shop. Where else can you find bargains (including brand names) in housewares, linens, makeup, clothes , shoes, luggage, commercial art, photo frames, stationary, clocks, cookware... all in one shop. Not every visit turns up insane bargains, but more often than not. The majority of staff are pretty helpful and the cashiers are a hoot. The merch is organized. If the shelves are in a disarray, chalk that up to the over zealous shoppers. The staff do their best to keep items neat n tidy as we all should. I see staff literally go down the aisles and tidy up and I've seen customers go tear it all up. read more
