Tractor Supply has the most reasonable price for water softener tablets in our area. Today was our day to replenish our stock. We were greeted multiple times by store staff as we enter. The store, began scanning the aisles for bargains. I have a roving eye, and immediately noticed a SALE on enameled garden decor. So I treated myself to this adorable little Rooster wind chime! So cute. My husband loaded up the utility cart a couple of 40 pound bags of salt pellets. The cashiers always ask us if we need a carry out to the car. This location has a rather large display of potted vegetable plants in the entryway of the store. Today it was raining quite heavily, so the pots were all nicely hydrated. Usually they look like they're on their deathbed due to overly dry conditions. I picked up several hot pepper plants to add to my porch pots. Hopefully I'll be harvesting salad peppers in the next few weeks. read more
