Had dinner here tonight with my family. We ordered an assortment of dishes. Some were really good, some were just good and some not so much.
I had the salt & pepper shrimp which was good. The shrimp was just a little fishy. I also had the wonton soup. It wasn't like the wonton soup I get in Texas, but I liked the addition of the bok choy and snow peas. The pieces of pork were generous. It was better with a bit of hot mustard.
My son had the General Gau chicken and he really liked it. He had to make himself stop eating before he exploded.
My dad had the sweet and sour pork. The pieces of pork were huge, but he thought the flavor was bland. On the other hand, my brother-in-law thought it was good.
My sister really enjoyed her orange beef. She raved about it. Before ordering, she asked if they used MSG because she has a bad reaction to it. The waiter said they did NOT use MSG, but she was feeling the effects of it later.
We also ordered the Marco Polo and we all thought it was great.
I'd go back. read more
