This is the worst post office I've ever been in !!! This is a contact tracers nightmare for spreading the corona virus , they do not follow CDC cleaning guidelines . The place and the parking lot is like a slum . They never take out the trash it's always spilling on the floor and there fir days . SEE PICTURES , they never refill the supplies in the lobby , nor fix their self serve kiosk , what a fricken nightmare during a pandemic to force people to use the counter and deal with unhappy clerks who could care a less they have a job . . I've actually written the Silver spring postmaster to complain since it's impossible to reach him/her , have I ever heard back , of course not!!! . That's it I'm reporting them to the health dept .... then maybe they will listen to all the complaints. They also closed 7 minutes before they were supposed to around tax day while several people in the Lobby reminded them that's illegal and showed them their phones to prove to them it was closing time . I actually went to 2 other post offices tonight looking for kiosk before I game to this unhealthy blocks only to find out that after a full month and an email to the postmaster their kiosk is still not working ... geez how many phone calls do you need to remind you to get it done !!!! read more
