My car is in great condition, btw. While my car was in their care, they broke the driver's side door and then tried charging me $1000+ for the repair. I spoke to the service manager, Robert, who stated "it's an old car, old parts break." He was rude and condescending. At least two people got into and out of my car after I dropped it off in order to drive it to the service bay for the oil change. The door was fine and in working order when they did that. Car doors don't just break unless someone is careless with them. After speaking with my service advisor and Robert, he finally agreed to give me the part for the door at cost and cover the labor. But they wouldn't repair it for free. How is it my financial responsibility for something that broke in their care? Upon picking my car up yesterday, there was MORE damage to the arm rest. I spoke to Robert again and he stated: "sometimes perfumes, lotions and oils rub away the gummy part of the arm rest." As if I don't know the condition of my car when I drive it almost every day. When looking at the arm rest, you can clearly see that it was damaged with tools. He examined the doors of my car and finally (reluctantly) consented and admitted the damage was the fault of their technician. He also stated that this would have been done when they repaired the part that was damaged (probably by the same technician). He said he would order the arm rest for me. However, they let me know it's (conveniently) back ordered and not available. So I'm out $311 and stuck with a damaged arm rest, when I only planned on getting an oil change. Whatever you do - don't bring your car here! You'll end up with major repairs after you do. read more
