I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and the restaurant we were originally planning on going to was packed and we weren't too far away so we headed to Villa Sofia!
The place is very small and I noticed a sign that said BYOB... so that meant we weren't having a drink with our pizza. They had a coke machine inside. I gathered they really only sell pizza and meatballs...in a sandwich or calzone. We ordered our pizza and while we waited many people came to pick up pizza and tons of calls were coming in ( they were saying about an hour and a half wait!). We could see the owner in the back hand tossing pizzas.
Our pizza was very good, I love a nice thin crust.
This is definitely a better to go pizza place as it's not really comfortable sitting in there. It was about a 30 minute drive to our house so we weren't taking it to go. If you're in the area it's worth a stop! read more
