Cathy provided the florals for our wedding at Scribner Bend this past weekend and we are so glad that we chose VID for our flowers. The planning process was super easy. We chatted over the phone and met in person at her studio, and she was so kind and agreeable. The quote she gave us was much more reasonable than the other florist I considered, and I felt that Cathy's goal was to take care of us, not to try to sell us more. For example, she recommended that the arch florals be moved behind the head table after the ceremony, which saved us from having to buy a second set of arrangements. Also, she recommended that we buy fake candles (vs real candles) because of how windy our venue can get sometimes, and told us "I can buy them for you, but it's cheaper if you buy them yourselves on Amazon." Her honestly and acknowledgement of wedding budgets was greatly appreciated. Also, we had more people RSVP "yes" than expected, and she was able to add a table arrangement without any fuss. On the day of, the table arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, cake flowers, and arch florals were exactly they style we asked for, were (and still are, days later) beautiful, and smelled wonderful to boot. She delivered them exactly on time, and coordinated with the venue staff for all of the ceremony and reception flowers, so we were totally hands-off. She even found a ribbon that matched the bridesmaid dresses, so the ribbons around the flowers were perfect too. I highly recommend Cathy and VID to anyone who's planning a wedding.
