We stopped for takeout at this Waffle House while passing through on vacation. Out of the nearby food options, this Waffle House had good reviews and a high health score so this was how we decided where to stop for a quick bite. As soon as I called to put in my order I knew this would be a great location to stop at. The waitress was very pleasant and accommodating which was much appreciated! Everyone inside was friendly and you could immediately tell there were plenty of known regulars enjoying breakfast. This seemed to be a very comfortable environment overall. They had our takeout order prepared in a very timely manner and everything was correct. They sent extra salt, butter, and syrup (because we are in the south and we need extra). The grits were a little too clumpy but everything else was great and those grits still got eaten :) There was even a regular patron who hurried out of his seat to help me get out the doors with the food. Even though it wasn't necessary, what a wonderful gesture! I will most definitely stop back at this Waffle House the next time I'm passing through Ruston! It was a very positive experience. read more
