This ice cream is made from goddess knows what heavenly cream. I don't usually put businesses up on a pedestal, but this ice cream shop usually has a line as long as the list of people who want a Trader Joe's in Anchorage...and that's pretty much everyone in town. I'm surprised they don't have one of those line holder people with a sign that reads--in badly written print-- 'END OF THE LINE.' Legend has it that tourists kayak across the Cook Inlet into Anchorage for a taste of this glacier that sits on a waffle.
The ice cream is so wild and...and scoopin' good. Every combination of wild berry and spice known to the feral Alaska wilderness can be found on their menu. If you're willing to walk on the wild wild side, for just $3(?) more you can get your own mini Alaskan tundra, baked with an industrial torch (in the form of a marshmallow) on the top of your wild WILD ice cream.
Legend has it that the ice cream can double as a face mask because you don't just want to eat it. You want to absorb the sugary goodness through your pours. ...OK, you got me, that last part I made up.
