Excellent new local spot for pastries and coffee! Happened to see a photo of their Dalgona whipped coffee and had to try it - it was wonderful! We also tried their Tiramisu Latte and some pastries and loved it all. They've just opened recently and are having a special deal where you get a free item if you spend $10 (pastry, drink, or ice cream) until Aug 10th! My iced Dalgona whipped coffee was light and pretty refreshing - the coffee was smooth and frothy with a rich flavor and the milk was cold and not too sweet, which I really appreciated. I would absolutely come back for this again. The Tiramisu Latte (hot) was also very delicious - they use some lovely coffee blends here. We also got three pastries: guava, blueberry, and cherry. So far I tasted a bit of the blueberry and cherry ones and they're very nice - flaky pastry and smooth jam that's, again, not overly sweet. Would also get these again. They've also got some savory lunch items on their menu that I'll be trying next time. The shop is simple and efficient in a decent location near the border of Arcadia/Monrovia. There's only one small table inside so it's more of a grab-and-go kinda place. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. And the prices are unbelievably reasonable - especially with their opening deal going at the moment. Our total was $13 for two lattes and three pastries! Parking is free street parking in the surrounding area and there are several cute shops within walking distance. read more
