Chef Pedro Godoy is really an asset to the restaurant community. The restaurant is inside a mall dedicated to architectural & home design, and it seems to fit in well. The décor is simple, clean and elegant. The service is attentive, but not overly so. The food was delicious. We came here for lunch and I was happy to see that they offer a tasting menu (with the option of 4 or 6 courses). I went for an appetizer and main course while my wife had the six-course tasting menu (I knew I was going to get to taste all her plates, so win-win!) My roast beef appetizer was served in a mushroom sauce with a puree of inhame (African yam); my main course was a filet mignon in an onion demi-glace. Both were perfectly cooked and tender. The six-course tasting menu consisted of a beef tartar, fried breaded fish croquettes, octopus vinaigrette, braised cupim (the hump of a zebu cow), breaded lambchop, and a deconstructed lemon pie. All the courses were delicious. The restaurant also has a very good wine list at reasonable prices. I'd definitely eat here again and I certainly recommend Wiella Bistro.

While they do make excellent pastries (including apple strudel, and Recife's famous jellyroll cake) the menu is extensive and the food is beautifully prepared and delicious. Not only that, but the appetizer portions are very generous--so much so, that we had to take 2 portions to go so that we could have room for the main courses. The waitress and the manager are very knowledgeable and helpful; they have a very good wine cellar and their prices are very reasonable for the quality of the dining experience. The manager was very helpful and knowledgeable and definitely added to the dining experience. I highly recommend Oma Patisserie Bistro if you're in the area and I can't wait to come back again.

The service is very good here. The neighborhood is very nice, but they also have security outside, and the security guard, Eduardo was a great guy (great name too!). Food is truly presented attractively. My complaint is that my main dish (the fish), was, for me, overcooked. I would recommend that you simply ask that if you'd like your fish the way I like it, just ask the kitchen to make the fish underdone. Despite this minor complaint, I would definitely dine here again, and I recommend that you do too.

We absolutely loved the whole experience. The service was excellent, the food was perfect and the décor is romantic and charming. The owners are very friendly and the restaurant has some of the best background music. If I had to describe the dining experience, I'd say it was dark, sexy and seductive. I started with duck confit croquettes, which were delicious; my wife had the terrine de foie and the portion was so large that she had to take it to go (yes, she enjoyed it very much). For a main course we had gnocchi in ossobuco ragù (the gnocchi were tender and the ragù was excellent) and the duck breast, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Nez Bistro is a member of the Associação dos Restaurantes da Boa Lembrança ("the Association of Good Memories"). Whenever possible, I try to visit their members because they are almost always high-quality establishments. I will definitely be back here the next chance I get.
