There's a great community at Locus -- where everyone's treated with kindness, courtesy and respect. It's a 24/7 situation so even if you're working U.S. hours, you can stay into the night if necessary. Locus is located in a very safe neighborhood with the metro and tram both five minutes away on foot. When I was there the events included weekly lunches and coffee breaks, and monthly "Free Beer Friday's" and pub nights. These helped facilitate initial introductions that lead to friendships. Facility-wise, Locus has comfortable office chairs and desks, and large windows that let in a lot of natural light. They also have WiFi outside in the summer, so you can work in their courtyard. The sense of belonging I felt at Locus made my stay in Prague feel like a second home. I miss it and hope to be back soon.
