I signed up for a year at the Econo (basic) level and worked out here through April 2018. You unfortunately can't sign up for just one month, or just one day (as far as I remember); you have to sign up for a year-long membership, but you can cancel it online at any time. If you cancel it within 37 days of registering, you only have to pay a penalty of 1/10 of your contract, which for me was under $15CAD!
The gym itself is pretty nice. Though there are individual studio rooms, a tanning area and massage chairs, I had the basic membership, so I didn't get to use them. The rest of the gym was great! There's a pretty big area with mats for stretching and abdominals. There's a good variety of machines, a smith machine, several bench presses, one squat rack, two cable machines, maybe 5 or 6 adjustable benches, and other stuff like a dip station and a barbell landmine setup. All the equipment worked well when I was there and seemed pretty new. Dumbbells go up to 75lbs. There is not much space to deadlift, but you could probably manage. The gym was clean and everyone mostly minded their business.
I usually went in at around 10:00-10:30am; at that time of day, there were maybe 10-15 people in there working out, but no major issues waiting for equipment. I'm sure this place gets busy before and after work!
Couldn't ask for much more from a gym for the price I paid (~$12USD a month)!
