ZI happened to be in the neighborhood for some other business, when I came across this cool little cafe on the avenue. It is small, and I wouldn't have noticed it but for the signs outside. I would guess that there are about six tables located inside and on the street. Even though it was already mid day, I felt like I needed a boost. The helpful Owner suggested that I try their Moma which was an expresso with chocolate, with a little bit of cinnamon added. Since it was lunchtime, I did want to get something small to eat. I went for their crepas nutellas which consisted for two crepes with the nutella topping. I chilled and sipped on the Moka while the crepes were being prepared, and definitely had a kick. The crepes were absolutely wonderful, and now I understand why so many people like them. They have free WiFi here, and this place was very enjoyable.

Cappuccino!

Despite what Yelp says, they are open every day of the week. The menu has just about everything you could imagine available.

The patio was covered with so many greenery and provided a lot of shades. We ordered a few items to share: - Toasted bread, chicken liver, and black truffle: a good appetizer to start off with. The chicken pate was good, a bit different from what I'm used to. - Pappardelle with pork ragu: this was super good. Love the pasta texture on this. Pork ragu sauce was also perfect. - Robalo ceviche, watermelon, Serrano pepper: a refreshing ceviche to balance out the meal. the watermelon added a bit of sweetness. - Pizza capocollo, radicchio, straquinella cheese: a good size pizza to share. I like thin crust. - Arugula, roasted tomatoes, Parmesan salad: fresh arugula that went perfectly with the roasted tomatoes. Every meal needs a good salad. - Ricotta stuffed zucchini blossoms: this was my favorite dish we tried. Such a unique combo of flavors. The ricotta cheese just melted when you bite into the zuchinni blossoms. It also had a light crispy texture. - Hummus and pita bread: another good choice for appetizer. The hummus was solid. The service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and our food didn't take long to come out. Would highly recommend to add this place to your list. This is also a great area to check out, plenty of things to do in La Condesa.

This block was already teaming with people dining on the sidewalk, and this cafe took it a step further with real awnings and plenty of light. The only things missing were the outdoor heat lamps. Obviously they don't use those in this part of the world, although it was a little nippy when I walked over here. I came on a complete whim, and I ordered a pastry with fruit and a cold Topo Chiko agua in the plastic bottle. I could tell the pastry had not been sitting on the counter all day, because it was still soft. I liked this cafe as well as this trendy little neighborhood.

The pastries and service were delicious. While they do not have indoor seating, it was very pleasant to sit outside on the sidewalk and people-watch. We tried three different pastries: a plantain pudding pastry, a fruity meringue pastry, and a very unique peanut butter and chapulines cruffin. All were excellent. My only piece of constructive feedback is regarding the payment process. We had to pay for the pastries separately from the coffee, which made the experience less smooth. It would be much more convenient if everything could be paid for on a single check. Overall, it was a wonderful spot!
