I ordered a warm chocolate pastry and chocolatin ( Cocoa based drink with coffee)

quiet place with a few bench tables and high tables. Varied menu of beverages and pastries. I went on a Thursday evening for myself a coffee after shopping and was able to sit next to the window and read a few chapters. The staff is friendly and bilingual the service was quick and the place was very clean.

Really solid coffee shop with lots of delicious baked goods and sandwiches. I really liked the pistachio pastry. The ambiance is nice and the service is pretty fast for the quality.

Great, spacious coffee shop in Roma Norte! Tierra Garat is chain in Mexico City that serves great coffee and hot chocolate. I loved coming here in the mornings! They have several types of hot chocolate/mocha with different spices and I loved their bittersweet mocha which was just perfect for a chilly December morning. The best part is that there are plenty of tables and comfortable seating inside with outlets you're looking for a place to study or do some work.

I was checking out Roma Norte which is a relatively new area for me. I've known about the neigborhood, but I never really passed too much time aroind here. I noticed that this cafe had a lot of people seated outsode so I figired that they must be doing something right. Even thoigh I wasn't really in the mood for coffee or an espresso this late in the day, I thought that a frappe would be a refreshing break from my long walk. I ordered the Frappe Bosque Carmesi which is a strawberry type of frappe. The whipped cream was additional. I also ordered a cookie to go along with it. Apart from the brain freeze experience, the frappe was great.

So many unique drink options here! We stumbled upon this cafe while walking around the Presidente Masaryk area. Interior is very modern and there's lots of comfortable seating both inside and out. The tres Leche frappe caught my eye from the picture but ended up being too sweet. The Taro frappe with almond milk was my favorite drink - super refreshing! Our Spanish knowledge was minimal, but the staff remained patient with us as we tried our best to order.

The coffee itself was decent--not amazing, but definitely drinkable. However, I was really surprised to find out they didn't have any creamer. No creamer at all! That struck me as pretty strange, especially for a place that serves coffee. It just felt like something was missing.

On our first trip to Mexico City, we are staying in the Roma Norte area. On our first morning we found Tierra Garat and had coffee. The shop is a 3 minute walk from our apartment. We have been for coffee twice now and plan on a few more visits before we return back to California. Their coffees are delicious. We are going to try other drinks. So far, the Cafe Cacao is our favorite and a standout. It is the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate and a rich milk. Fabulous! The Chai was good too, but the coffee . . . stellar! Great job!

They have a great selection of drinks with chocolate, coffee, frappes, and non-caffeinated drinks like chai and agua fresca. I ordered the dulce madera, which was served piping hot and sweet. Nice thick consistency with a hint of cinnamon. They have indoor tables with a cute wood themed interior and outdoor seating too! Better than Starbucks.

Get this! Orange and ginger mocha.

Die hard mocha fan here, in love after one sip of the NARANJA HUACAL mocha (cafe con cacao) at Tierra Garat. I can taste the fresh ginger, citrus from the orange and richness from the chocolate in that order. Talk about layers!! Not overly sweet either. So happy to be reunited with Tierra Garat after my last trip to CDMX. Alt milk options are soy, coconut and almond. Bonus- there are many locations throughout Roma and Condesa and even the districts further south. Bonus 2- leather and wood decor, leather chairs and the barista's leather apron! OooO what are going to do to me with all that leather...

The ambiance is definitely mellow. It's a Starbucks sized cafe, but their selections are quite different. I like their menu. They have drinks made with Cacao and coffee. They're absolutely amazing. They also have indoor and outdoor seating. I saw people working and reading while seated inside drinking their coffees. It's definitely a place that I'd like to go check out again.

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Roma. Beautiful decor, lots of seating space, delicious coffee and a sandwich made with yucca "bread" make this place my go to when I visit the city.

If you don't want to wait in the guaranteed line at Panaderia Rosetta across town for the famous guava roll, then come here it's the same bakery! It had indoor and outdoor and covered outdoor seating. It was awesome to sit outside and listen to the rain while I inhaled my bakery items. The guava roll of course- fabulous. They even have the jam you can take home with you. They also have a menu of non bakery items. I highly recommend this spot!

We were told the wait would be 30mins but it was over an hour. At some point the staff member removed our name from the list despite us standing right next to the door and waiting (and asking for updates) the whole time. The host was apologetic about this and tried her best to make up for it with a good table. Eventually we were seated and the menu was great. Really delicious food choices ranging from my Mexican flavors to more basic Western options. Scrambled eggs looked good, the piadina was delicious, as were the chilaquiles! Plenty of fresh juice options and pastries (from Rosetta)!
