A little gem. The staff were all very kind and the food was amazing. The bread was incredibly fresh and the coffee was was tasty. Really nice foam on my cappuccino.

Perfect little neighborhood place with an authentic vibe, great service and comforting menu. We found it just around the corner from our Airbnb and so glad we did!

This was a solid breakfast choice. Not busy, quick service, sandwiches were good. The hot sauces were good as well - especially the spicy mustard. The cold brew was also surprisingly good - would absolutely come back for a quick breakfast on my next trip.

Clara y Ema serves the most delicious breakfast egg sandwiches and is perfect for a quick bite without the fuss. All sandwiches are served with their signature brioche bread which is incredibly soft and fluffy. I opted for the Clara, which has bacon, egg, and cheese served with chipotle mayo. The ingredients are simple yet flavorful and come together beautifully. I also recommend ordering their freshly squeezed orange juice!!

Small little breakfast spot that won't disappoint! Absolutely loved their breakfast sandwiches especially their brioche bread. The service was super fast and all around amazing place to go for a quick breakfast.

Of course, I used Yelp to find this place! It was my last day in CDMX. I wanted a full breakfast. The reviews seemed good. So I took a quick Uber to this place from my hotel. I came hangry and ready to feast. It was not crowded, and I was easily able to get seated. The place is cute, indoor/outdoor feel, with counter seats at the large open windows. With wifi (fyi for travelors). Very chill, with folks on laptops, or with their dogs or kids. Food - I had one combo meal (which includes a breakfast sandwich, oj, and coffee), and then I ordered a 2nd sandwich. Sandwiches, I got the Clara & Claudio. After eating both, I was full. The juice seemed fresh squeezed, which I liked. The combo is a good deal for the price and portion. I liked the runny egg sandwich the best. Service - was slow, but the server was alone. I'm not holding it against them. The server and I made it through with my minimal Spanish in communicating. I think she was surprised that I tipped so generously. Overall, nice neighborhood joint, easy place for breakfast.

Cute little breakfast sandwich spot in Condesa near our airbnb. We walked by here a few times and finally decided to try it on our last day visiting Mexico City. Simple and straightforward with quality ingredients made for a great sandwich. I got the Clara, which had egg, bacon, and chipotle mayo on a brioche bun. The bread was super soft and light, but still kept together to hold all the fixings. We got the combo with came with orange juice and a coffee. The iced cafe de olla was just perfect, not too sweet. Service was prompt and super helpful. Def recommend this spot for breakfast or to-go while out adventuring the city!

We stopped in for a late breakfast while staying in Condesa. The staff was really nice and we ordered two Emmas with an Orange Juice and a Cold Brew. The Cold Brew was decent but the OJ was very, very good!! Now onto the sandwiches. The Brioche is insanely soft! It almost doesn't make sense but it's delicious and the texture is like nothing you'll ever have. The caramelized onions were also a very good touch. The only issue was that the eggs could've used a bit more seasoning. If you're in the area, add this to your list!

A great small breakfast/brunch spot in CDMX. We had a breakfast sandwich and fruit bowl - both were fantastic. Helpful staff for non-Spanish speakers and great coffee too.

Grabbed breakfast here every day I was in CDMX, and I highly recommend. The Clara and the Ema sandwiches are so good, the perfect hangover cure from nights of mezcal. Highly recommend their cafe de olla cold brew, the patio is nice and breezy and perfectly shaded too!

Delicious! We ordered the Ema and added avocado. The bread looks huge, but it's light and airy and not as overwhelming as it looks. The sweetness of the caramelized onions with the spicy aioli is perfection.

Amazing sandwiches and good coffee/ pastries. Priced well for even locals. The bun reminded me of brioche. Delicious!!

The counter. This is where you order. Just a few items, coffee and pastries.

There's no menu and no real sign, so we double-checked it was the right place by asking someone who was already eating . The team didn't speak English, so we basically got whatever they decided to make for us. I was hoping for chicken anyway, so it worked out, but my friend and I originally planned to share and try two different proteins. I DEVOURED the chicken torta chilaquiles sandwich. It did start to get a little tough towards finish towards the end, but I powered through because it was such a flavor bomb. No way I was leaving that behind. I was expecting the chilaquiles to be crunchy, and they weren't- but they also weren't soggy in a gross way. The texture actually worked in the sandwich, and the flavor was so good. And THE CREMA. So rich. So yum. Big fan. It filled me up for the entire day. Zero regrets.

What's to hate about chips, beans, cheese, onions, a lightly breaded chicken cutlet and your choice of salsa? It's chilaquiles in a bolillo! The only thing that I would have preferred is for the chips to be less soggy and more crunchy to get more contrast in texture (but that's just me, not trying to change their method and system, just a heads up to the user). If you need to fill up for a long day of walking around town, this carb bomb will keep you satisfied. Don't be deterred by the long lines, the employees work super fast to get you on your way. Even though they have…read moreseveral locations across CDMX, we stumbled upon one just a short walk from our hotel--and the fact that they were open on Christmas Day already earned bonus points. What really says it all? We loved it so much, we went back the very next day. This was the only restaurant we repeated during our week-long stay, which should tell you everything. The menu is extensive and thoughtfully curated--fresh, flavorful, and something for everyone. We tried the croissant sandwich, salmon deli nut sandwich, chutney mango deli sandwich, santos ahogados, fig chipotle deli sandwich, pear honey deli sandwich, and the spicy tuna deli sandwich. The sandwiches came with a standard simple salad. Every single item was delicious, well-balanced, and satisfying in that "clean but filling" way. The tables had two delicious spicy chili oil like condiments which elevated each of these dishes. And the juices--WOW. So refreshing, vibrant, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The perfect complement to the food and ideal for starting (or resetting) your day. If you're visiting Mexico City, Ojo de Agua is an absolute must. With such a wide menu, you're guaranteed to find something you'll love--and very likely come back for more. Highly recommend!

We tried a few juices, the chicken tomato salad and the salmon tacos. The salad was huge with a big portion of chicken, avocado and many toppings for a reasonable price. The tacos were smaller but flavorful. Taking off a star because my salad arrived almost 15 minutes before my boyfriend's tacos arrived and the restaurant was pretty empty. The lights were out in the bathroom and in part of the restaurant, so not sure if they were dealing with a partial power outage and impact to the kitchen. Still recommend for the food!
