The old man that works there is not a nice person. I strongly recommend that you avoid him like the plague. He is extremely argumentative, confrontational and arrogant. He refused to look at my car because it was raining and told me to come back another day. I personally believe that he was angry that I disturbed his breakfast. I was taken care of by Julian and he was amazing. The whole process was super easy and I would highly recommend going through them if you don't want to deal with selling privately. I got a significantly higher offer than the trade-in at the dealership. It was within 10% of the price I would be happy to sell at privately, but I was more than willing to "pay" for the service. I recently brought my car in for appraisal and was initially offered $1500 less than what I ultimately ended up selling the car to another company for. The initial offer was also less than the minimum online estimate calculated on the CarCash website. After informing the sales representative of the other offer I had already received, he was still not willing to negotiate to within $500 of market value for the car (which we confirmed together on Kelley Instant Cash Offer website). None of that silliness that most car dealers do trying to wear you down with the "good cop/bad cop" or "let me check with my sales manager" tactics. The price they gave was very fair for a used car place and much better than the dealer would have given me without the wasted time. I was disappointed in an (almost) $100 fee for title search. Title search fees are the responsibility of buyer, not seller. Think real estate. I also had the original title with me, in my name, with no lien on it. But I know now all DEALERS MAKE A KILLING OFF FEES!!!! I also was a little disappointed they wouldn't drive me home but I did live 15 minutes from their location. To me that was well worth it for the profit they could have made.
