I purchased a $125,000 Certified Pre-Owned Porsche from Porsche Englewood believing that "Certified" meant inspected, serviced, and problem-free. Within days, I noticed a mechanical issue and immediately brought it to their attention. For six months, I was bounced between departments, promised follow-ups that never came, and ultimately told the issue was "maintenance-related." That's a convenient label when you're trying to dodge responsibility. The truth is, this was a maintenance issue that should have been addressed before the sale--the entire point of paying a premium for a CPO vehicle. After half a year of complaints, Porsche Englewood finally admitted the issue existed but still refused to stand behind it. The experience was the opposite of luxury: evasive communication, zero accountability, and a distinct feeling that customer trust is something they view as optional. Extremely Disappointing Experience, Buyers Beware. I've attempted to purchase cars from this dealership 8 times, and every visit has been the same story. Hours of waiting, empty promises, and to be blunt, straight games. I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt and I usually don't leave reviews, let alone a negative review, but today was the final straw. When I visited today, I drove 1 hour and waited at the showroom for 4 hours, to finalize a deal on a car priced at $5XX,XXX. The dealership we agreed on a deal, got the bill of sale printed out, completed my loan application, were ready for my deposit and then suddenly the dealer sold the same car to a walk-in customer for significantly less. They completed that deal in 30 minutes, after wasting my entire afternoon and 5 hours of my time. It was an unethical business. I've purchased several cars in the past 2 years, and this is by far the worst dealership experience I've ever had. Even more concerning, the car I was purchasing was another customer's car with the dealership currently holding $130,000 in-house from that original customer. The dealership chose to sell the car even after having that much money in house because the customer was busy and unresponsive only for a couple of weeks. This is ridiculous but I overlooked it because I really wanted the vehicle in my collection. At a time when every dealer we went to wanted to surprise their potential customers with thousands of dollars in extra fees, Porsche Englewood did right by us. We went there to look at a used Lexus LX570. The price advertised was the price they actually wanted me to pay. We were even able to haggle a bit off the listed price. At first we didn't want to do a trade in. I thought we could get more money for our car if I sold it myself. But we heard Armando out and he came back with a very decent offer for our Jeep. Combined with the tax savings of the trade in, it was very close to what I felt I would've gotten on the Jeep by myself. And, the biggest surprise of all was the extremely brief, no nonsense interaction with the finance manager. There were no pitches for undercoating or this and that. It was just a review of all the numbers we spoke about. Every our salesperson/consultant Armando said was on the papers. No surprises. No added fees. No fuzzy math. It was all a very ... professional experience, as befitting of a Porsche dealership. (My wife has a Porsche, and we got a very similar experience when we bought her car.) Buyer Beware! Don't let the slick showroom run by its condescending GM, Roger Detanico, lull you into a false sense of customer relations post sales. As a 10 year, 2 Porsche owner from this dealership, Town Motors Porsche had a significant accident with my pristine Macan S when I dropped it off for its annual servicing. Their accident with my car compromised the vehicle's integrity, with no financial contribution from the dealership towards a replacement vehicle. Town Motors Porsche's accident with my car cost me out of pocket $55k towards a replacement vehicle from another dealership. As Ted Siebold, the President of Town Motors Porsche said, accidents happen and it is NOT TMP's responsibility to keep you, (the customer whose car they destroyed), financially whole! As an FYI, upon further research, this dealership has a D- rating from the New Jersey Better Business Bureau. Horrible customer service my name is Patrick and I had Jeffrey Ramo as my service advisor I brought a new 2020 Porsche panamera to be serviced because the car had a recall and I had a few concerns about the car Jeffrey informed me that there will be a charge of 240$ for a diagnosis check on the car but if my warranty company covers the car it will be no charges to me the warranty company did cover the car fixtures and denied a bunch of other fake service charges that's Jeffrey tried to charge them $30,000 for a new transmission when the transmission works fine this dealership lies to charge customers more money that's wrong When I came to pick up the car Jeffrey tried to charge me 3 diagnostic fees of 240$ each totaling 725$ in total even though the warranty company covered the fixtures I asked to speak to Kevin the manager he was no help he came over immediately and started being aggressively loud arguing with me and insulting me telling me I was not intelligent also saying I don't have a job when I was standing there in full uniform coming from work to be beat up on and disrespected by Kevin the manager it was unbelievable I couldn't believe I was at a Porsche dealership Kevin should not be the manager he is very unprofessional rude and disrespectful and he does not have any problem solving skills he just made the situation 10 times worse Kevin should be fired he is going to cost the company alot of money in lawsuits then to make matters worse as I was talking letting them know I was being over charged because I should not be paying 3 diagnostic charges for one car Kevin the manager said I should call the Police on you trying to scare me Kevin is racist and definitely discriminated against me in the middle of all this the owner Roger walked up and sent Kevin and Jeffrey away and fixed the situation and charged me 213$ deductible and my warranty company covered the rest this is what we agreed on in the beginning and there should not have been any issues but the dealership tried to trick me out of more money and rob my warranty company at the same time Kevin the manager was very aggressive and in my face it looked like he wanted to hit me I would not service my Porsche here again the dealership is dishonest and Kevin is a problem read more

I was humiliated as they told me after I arrived at their site that they would not give me a loaner since I did not purchase from them ! When I called Town Porsche, they were professional, sympathetic, kind, compassionate and so friendly. The parts were ordered and they actually picked up and left me a loaner while my car was in their shop. Perhaps this was due to the Coronavirus but I still appreciated their efforts. First let me say that I am shocked that I've been asked to leave a review about my recent experience at Town Porsche. It was the most frustrating and unpleasant experience. Jeff Romano was my Service Advisor. I made an appointment to drop off my 2012 Cayenne for a recall repair and to service the rear door (trunk) which wouldn't lock. I left my vehicle confident that everything would be okay. I was never given any updates as to the status of my vehicle. Over the course of 2 weeks I had to call in order to get any information. Jeff was not available multiple times. When I finally got him on the phone 2 weeks later, I was made aware that my vehicle had not yet been serviced. I was denied a loaner from the beginning despite the urgency of me needing my car. I was forced to pick my car up having NO repairs made. Service Manager Alexandra Dutko was helpful in getting my car back. She was patient and could not be more apologetic. She exemplifies what CUSTOMER SERVICE is all about. She is truly an asset to the Porsche team. Perhaps Jeff Romano can learn from her. I have been a Town Porsche customer for over 3 years. They have always treated me with respect and provided outstanding customer service. They are always able to schedule appointments in short time frame and sometimes even finish the job before their specified deadline. Recently my Panamera has been hit from the back, so I have brought it to the Town Porsche. They performed an excellent paint job and exhaust repairs. Now the car looks like new! I would like to warn others so hopefully this does not happen to anyone else.I brought my wife's Porsche Cayenne to Porsche Town Motors in Englewood, NJ to get a routine service. While they were road testing our vehicle they hit another vehicle. Thank G-d everyone is OK however, Town Motors has now completely screwed us! They have had our vehicle for 4 weeks now and even though they promised to take care of ALL of the body damage they have in fact made it even worse! They have performed one of the worst paint jobs I have ever seen with drip marks all over the vehicle. The company has been rude and I have multiple emails and photographs proving that they have continuously lied to us. I now have no other choice but to file a lawsuit against them. We are hiring a top litigation attorney to represent us in this case. I have already filed a formal complaint with the New Jersey Attorney General's Office, the Better Business Bureau and the Division of Consumer Affairs. I have also begin contacting my personal contacts at major news and media outlets. I plan to utilizing my social media followers to post about this horrific experience and I will also soon be creating a website dedicated to this horrible experience. The lack of service that Porsche/Town Motors has provided during this ordeal has in fact been disrespectful to my wife and myself. Great service experience at Town Porsche. Had a flat tire, delivered my car at 6:45AM as I had to get to Manhattan for work by 8:30. Andrew and an engineer greeted me into the dealer to get things processed even though they weren't opened yet. Andrew was very nice and explained all the things that will be done to the car whilst at the shop- even though Andrew wasn't the person in charge of my appointment, he was very kind to help me out, and even offered coffee and water while i was waiting for my lyft. Danielle officially took care of everything for me, as she was the one who I had the appointment set with. She called and texted me throughout the entire process-some information and other processes had to be taken care of, since I just moved from California and the dealer had no insurance, warranty, etc info neccessary to get things all cleared up. Danielle was more than helpful, and made sure I was up to date on what was going on with my car and what needed to be done further. We set up a test drive for my wife for the following day. By chance she loved the color and features so I decided to lease it for her. They were so accommodating. We had to clean out her old car and they provided bag for us. Yes, we drove off with it. They paid off our remaining payments on previous lease. So friendly and no pressure. I've now used both the Audi & Porsche dealership for both sales and service and they blow everyone else out of the water. Specifically Jake Semon from Town Motors Porsche, Marc Faraj from Town Motors Porsche, and Franklin Scott from Town Audi all went above and beyond throughout each and every interaction. For those that are new to this dealership - they are more of a boutique that has a strong focus on customer service. This is in contrast to the typical busy & crowded dealerships with high-strong and high-pressure sales people running around. The sales staff here is not pushy and everyone I've interacted with has gone above and beyond to make the car buying and servicing experience as smooth as possible. On this forum I read a few negative responses but that is common you cant please everyone. If you are looking for someone to sell you a new or used Porsche I recommend using Will Gakos. I am sure there are other great sales people there but I feel I don't need to find anyone else for my future Porsche purchase. Will is a hard worker and whenever I randomly stop by the dealership. I always either see him at his desk or showing a car in the front of the building. The rest of the staff including Marcy is also very helpful as well. Keeping in mind that "service" was being provided under a very basic 90 day power train warranty, my car was given expert attention, I received a great loaner and Danielle communicated clearly what was happening thru the process. Once again I had the pleasure to meet briefly with Kevin and review his findings and actions with my car which included both warranted updates to the transmission and DME in addition to adding the accessories of Sport and Spot plus (this of course I paid for) but from what I have seen so far it was a great investment in the cars performance. I cannot stress enough how the work they did could NOT have been performed by a "Foreign Car Dealer" that was not a Porsche dealer, and that I cannot imagine being treated any better, not to mention the car is perfect now :-) Thank you again for making what is essentially a car meant for fun and pleasure use just that instead of what might have been a nightmare with a lesser organization. I had some issues with my previous Cayenne 2012, the headquarters of Porsche could not figure out how to address it but Mark Faraj resolved the problem for me and switched me to a new car within days without waiting for his big corporation to make a decision! My 911 is suffering from a wheel shimming and I had narrowed it down to a couple of possible problems. It was either a wheel balance issue or tires that were old and possibly flat spotted. Danielle talked me through the costs of removing the front wheels and re-balancing versus the cost of putting on a new set of fronts, which I was planning to do in the spring anyway. Danielle was more than helpful as she arranged for Russ, the Master Tech to come and speak to me about the issue. In the end I decided on new tires and am glad I did. Even though the wheel shimmy is still present, if it were not for Danielle, I would have wasted $$ on the balancing option. Since I needed two new front tires anyway, there is no money wasted. I am treated like family by both Marci and Danielle while my car is being serviced and it has been that way for the last four years and three 911's. read more
