No, no and no!! 1. They intentionally overbook - they came at NOON for a 9-11 appt., after I was called at 8:45am to say they were coming between 9:30-10am. Funny. 2. When I booked, I made sure they understood that I needed a WHOLE 1800 sq. ft house cleaned out completely. They sent a 2 man crew with one of their tiny trucks...their estimate? 4-6 truckloads at $750/load AND they weren't prepared to do that today. Borderline hilarious. 3. I asked them to clean out the living room and garage only (at those crazy prices)....sooo, they cleaned out the living room and part a bedroom. I had to haul the garage stuff that we had waiting out for them BACK into the garage. I'm in stiches! Truly, do yourself a favor and ignore the BS positive reviews. Since all donation centers currently won't take furniture, these guys are warehousing good items for future donations. But they do careful and junk removal. I wish I could rate them with no stars, but 1 is fair. Called them to clear out a basement of debris and boxes. Price was $595. They work quickly, but there is no -- zero -- effort to pack their trucks efficiently, so boxes are not broken down to pack flat and they toss things in for maximum charging, citing that these would take another load. Told them if they packed it correctly to begin with, this wouldn't have been an issue and they finally took the very minimal amount of remaining debris. Sweep-up afterward was half-hearted at best. C'mon -- folding chairs fold for a reason! Would not recommend. read more

Two days ago I contacted this co. I needed a piece of furniture removed. I was going to give them the dimension but was told it wasn't necessary. I was given a price of $89 including tax. I said that was ok and they said they would be here today. Yesterday I called to confirm and was told they would be here. I questioned the price because on their website it said prices started at $139-$600. They said that they had a policy of charging $89 for one piece and that was I would be charged. When they came they said the price would be $179. My husband said we were quoted $89. After haggeling we finally paid $107. This is bad business practices and I will not recommend them or use them in the future. read more

we very recently used this company for a move and will never recommend to anyone. one of the reasons we chose "Got Junk" is they informed us our furniture would be donated to various organizations whom were in need of such items. we had a beautiful china cabinet, a wood desk, head board and a king bed frame, along with some mattresses, all in excellent condition., unfortunately, after being loaded into the truck, all of our items were broken into pieces and we were charged almost $500 for everything to be taken away, with a surcharge on mattresses which we were not informed of over the phone. after the two young boys whom worked for the company left, we immediately called the main number and made a formal complaint. we were informed they were going to look into the case and get back to us. how very disappointing i find this, we thought we were donating to various charitable organizations, but instead, its actually just a bunch of splinters and junk instead of our memorable furniture read more

I called on this service when I needed to move and had to clean out everything my family had left behind over the years (a father who did construction, 3 older brothers who thought the 2 family house we lived in was a storage facility) after seeing them on "Hoarders". A lot of stuff accumulates in over 40 years, and these men were the absolute best at what they were doing! They recommended I get a dumpster and hire someone else to save myself somemoney (which was extremely honest of them) but time was of the essence and I wanted to get away from my now-former landlady as fast as I could! It took several trips on their part (in fact, I ducked out for the last trip; I just couldn't deal with that woman anymore!) but they cleaned out the entire two floors of what had been our apartment and did an amazing job. They were friendly, efficient, and had to deal with that same ex-landlady, who did, in fact, give them grief at times, but they let it mostly roll off their backs and did the job, climbing two flights of stairs to reach the upper floor and that nasty attic I always hated to get everything out of there. It was money well spent in my opinion, and Brian (the site supervisor) and Justin especially busted their tails (I don't recall everyone's name, I'm sorry, I met a lot of great workers from this company; Brian and Justin were there every trip - and it took three trips!) to get this done for me. Believe me, I'd definitely call on them again and be more than happy to do so! I'd also recommend their services to anyone who needed them - and fellows, there's a lady I know who's house has been in her family for over 100 years, and if you think I had a lot of stuff... LOL!
