Once I started unpacking boxes and moving items out of my garage, I found significant damage. One antique table that belonged to my grandmother has clearly been mishandled. There are two places where there were shreds of wood on the corner. I was unpacking boxes that were supposed to be books they packed, and I got about halfway through one box and discovered that they threw two glass shadowbox frames in with the books. One of them was shattered. Thankfully it was the one I hadn't yet filled with photos. The other one would have been disastrous since it had photos of my dad who recently passed away. Even novice movers know you don't put glass frames at the bottom of a box of books!!!! I'm seriously afraid to see what else got damaged in the numerous boxes I have yet to unpack. It's pathetic.

We have moved multiple times in east cost always use the same mover from NY. This time thought of trying a NJ based mover. Here are the issues 1.Lack of professional behavior. They came inside saw that entryway table had a few bills picked them up asked me which currency it is. 2. One of the kitchen packers opens lid of my spice box (I had leaves and chillies puts his nose in sniffs and asks what is it? 3. Packed every little thing in white wrapper so unpacking was hell. Single stainless steel spoon wrapped in 4 layers of packing . 4. Who does this .packing open can of bleach with groceries. While unpacking I saw white dust thought its paint once I hit end of box it was bleach so ended up throwing everything from that box. Which professional mover does that 5. Random packing. I had very organized closet but they picked random items and packed in diff boxes so i had box with sweaters pillow covers photo frames and belts all from diff parts of closet. LASTLY we were given pricing we paid that by bill and paid $800 extra over that without receipt as they demanded that they packed box. When vector gave me a quote it included 10 medium boxes $20 per box but the guys packed everything with white wrapper in kitten not one but 4 sheets and increased boxes packed to 30 , unethically charging us for small boxes stuffed with white paper. Please note it was a very painful experience and no one deserves this kind of billing or nonsense

She was absolutely rude and nasty. Someone with her disposition should never be answering calls and dealing with prospective clients. I try not to leave negative reviews. I even told this rep. this. I told her if I do leave a negative review, it would be because of her. After being reached by Tony J., assuming he's the owner/president of the company, he has to realize his employees have NO right to scream at customers/prospective clients! This rep, named JINA SCREAMED September THIRD! THIRD!! That wasn't necessary. She was really nasty to begin with a really bad attitude. One thing that really stood out to me was that instead of asking me how many boxes I need, they asked me to send them pics of my place and stuff, and they calculated the number of small, medium and large boxes I need. It's so easy to underestimate and get a different price at the end. Also, I know I wanted packers because its speeds up the entire process of moving and settling in. I'm so glad I did with Roadway. It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. They're all so polite, friendly and efficient. Within 1 day, I already feel 95% settled in. It's the easiest, stress-free moving experience I had in a while!

The team was prompt, professional, and careful, and we are very grateful we chose 360. TL;DR details: After I sent 360 a request for bid via their website, Shane called me within 10 minutes. He booked an appointment for the next day, showed up exactly when he said he would, and proceeded to look at everything. He asked smart questions, and took me seriously. As he was leaving, Shane took a moment to explain to me that 360's bid would take into account the cost of fairly paying their qualified, experienced team to do their jobs correctly. My spouse and I are 100% behind that! He had the bid to me less than an hour after the appointment. The bid was what we expected: more than other moving companies who try to get the job by low-balling it. But it's true that you get what you pay for. On the appointed messy day in February, the team picked up at our apartment and the storage area (used to keep us from tripping over packed stuff the month before M-day). They packed up furniture, large framed objects, and mirrors. They were fast and thorough, but it still took several hours, so delivery had been scheduled for next day (we moved a couple hours north). Next morning, the guys were here to put everything where we wanted. While they worked, I slept in the bathtub because I was knackered. The only other company whom I seriously considered was located across the street from where we lived. They made an appointment for a video consult. As I carried my phone around the apartment, showing them everything, she asked me to estimate how many boxes we would have. Isn't that what they're supposed to tell me? I had to insist that they raise the number, because we'd just moved two years previous, and what she said seemed really low. Anyway, they got back to me the next day via email with the bid which was similar like 360's, but I didn't really like them. It seemed like they expected to get the contract simply because we were across the street, and they couldn't be much bothered to do the work to make a real estimate. It probably would have been fine, but as I said (see above), we are grateful we found 360 Degree Moving, and we'd choose them again in a second.

They scheduled a zoom/facetime walk-thru of my apartment to see what I needed and to give me a better quote. I had started packing already and got all my own boxes so it was easy to see what I had left. What I really liked was the 'no BS' hidden fees. It was one price that wouldn't change, no matter the hours or added last minute box. Of course my move was scheduled and it had to snow. Thankfully this didn't stop them. 4 guys showed up right on time (during a snow storm on a friday morning rush hour in the city). They walked thru and got a game plan, then brought up all the blankets and plastic wrap and got to work. TVs were dismounted and put in boxes, mattresses were put in boxes as well. The amount of blankets they used to wrap my furniture made me so happy. While they took their time, they were still hustling - running from the truck to the apartment. Once we got to my new place, they covered my stairs with runners and wore plastic booties to ensure my floors weren't messed up. I wish I had bought the wall mount for my TVs for my new place, because they offered to set me up. The only thing I was disappointed about was that my couch didn't fit thru the garage entry so it was left in the garage. I wish they had tried thru the front door but they were adamant that it still wouldn't fit. After 7 hours, I wasn't going to push them. Regardless, would 100% recommend Veterans Movers and also hope Roadway doesn't ruin this small-business. I wish I could remember the 4 guys that helped me move to give them a shoutout! Thx!!!

As you can see in the video from March 2026, the careless dumpster pickup caused significant damage to my driveway, despite me following the exact advice from the company and providing four 3' length of 2x6. I would have happily provided longer lengths if that was suggested, but I assumed the company would know best about their processes (my mistake). So when being picked up, the dumpster, weighing several hundred pounds itself plus almost two additional tons of junk, was rolled off of the support wood pieces, crashing onto the driveway, and then dragged along its metal wheels for another 5-6 feet. The crashing noise onto my driveway was deafening and created damage that the owner acknowledged to see. For what it's worth, the individual who placed the dumpster did an incredible job of maneuvering the container back and forth to ease it down carefully onto the wood pieces (how I'm assuming they're trained to do), which I appreciated and was impressed by. However, the latter individual couldn't be bothered to spend 2 extra minutes for the customer's sake. I brought this up to the owner immediately as it occurred, to which I received no response and was ignored. Exactly 29 days after the dumpster was picked up, yes, twenty-nine days later, I receive an additional credit card charge from Rhino and email saying 'sorry this took so long, but your dumpster was overweight by X amount, so we billed you extra'. I'm aware of the overage charges and okay to pay them, but was surprised to see this coming in so late after the pickup (and that I was off the "ignore" list!) I used the opportunity to follow-up about the damage, providing videos and questioning whether this is his fault (wrong suggestion for wood boards) or the drivers (carelessness), to which I got a "this just happens sometimes". I provided him the quotes I'd received for driveway repair companies for the damages, offering the opportunity to make this situation right, to which, you guessed it - I was ignored again! So, overall, this whole experience lacked professionalism and accountability in every regard and caused more frustration than whatever garbage I was throwing away could amount to.

Issues were threefold: - Eric basically represented and used a facility that does its own direct auto transport. When questioned (because they were cheaper) he highlighted his business as better due to a number of factors. None of these ended up coming to fruition. - the Rando he got to transport my car was horrible. Lack of communication or updates. Ended up delivering the car two or three days later than promised (meaning I missed being able to inspect the car). And throughout the process was full of lies regarding arrival time and why he wasn't delivering on time. - car was damaged during transport but because I was out of town for 2 months after the fact and wasn't able to confirm and share this with Eric (because it was delivered late) I had no recourse for costs to fix the damage. - finally, In reviewing his end of year books, Eric got confused about a voided transaction (I had been charged twice initially and there was a void in his books). He assumed that it was me doing it due to my dissatisfaction and charged my credit card again without confirming the issue with me. He left messages while I was in a meeting and then charged my card without confirming. When I called, he apologized for his angry action but for someone who highlights professionalism amongst his traits, I feel this was way out of line. I was going to just leave things as is and not write a review and leave things as they were in August but given the action he took today I felt compelled to warn others.

Finally getting to sharing my feedback on Extra Space Storage. This is not something I'm jazzed…read moreabout because the customer service in the beginning working with their team was super solid. Perhaps I'm naive but I really felt lured in by the reviews and initial low price offer. I had never rented a storage unit before. I had some apprehensions due to what I've read about bait and switch practices. I'd hope I wouldn't be a victim of this behavior...but alas that was not meant to be. I was initially pleased by the discount proposed after first touring the space in the fall of 2020 but just a few weeks later the price increased by the time I signed the contract. That should have been the first red flag. In the ensuing months, Extra Space increased my space rent by 20% after 4 months and another 20% 9 months later. A whopping 44% in just over a year. Extra Space has consistently raised our rent. They give you a big discount at first then in 6 mths raise your rent and again at the 1 year mark. Here's the breakdown of my costs to date with the company: 11/20 -- $157 02/21 -- $186 11/21 -- $248 6/22 -- $285 * 3 days after my online review (nice)* I know they will give you the legalese "pursuant to your agreement...you're on a month to month"....blah blah blah. The storage companies know it's a hassle for you to move again and take advantage of that. Of course they can stick w you the fine print but it's still shady business practice to raise your rates so quickly and so high. :( UPDATE Three (3) !! days after posting my feedback, Extra Space Storage increased my rate again by almost 15% ~ another $40. Methinks it was retaliation for this review. I find the timing of the increase VERY coincidental. I posted on 6/24/22 and they generated one of those pesky rate increase postcards on 6/27/22. Can't prove it obviously but it seems evident the business owners wanted to be punitive bc I gave them a less than stellar review.

The best personal and professional service I could of hoped for. This was a big move: over 500 boxes/rubbermaid containers, lawnmowers, a spa, piano, etc, a 3000 sq foot home full of furniture and stuff collected over 27 years moved to a new home 50 miles away, A & T were perfect in every aspect of the move. Timing, staff, packing material to protect floors, walls, and antiques, all taken care of. A & T brought 12 guys to make the job go fast, they scaled the number of people to make sure they could pack/unpack all this stuff in a single 8 hour shift. Did I mention the price? A & T were well below the next closest quote and there were no added costs and markups when it came to moving day. Just a note of advise for all people who are planning a move: if you box your stuff up BEFORE you call for a quote (that's 6 weeks before the move,) at least 90% of it anyways, you'll save THOUSANDS of dollars in the move. We got quotes for the move before and after packing our stuff, and quotes from companies that didn't see full boxes of stuff built into the quote the price to box it up and came in at double the quotes from companies that saw our home with everything boxed up. Even after we boxed up all the stuff A & T still was lower than every other quote. That was only half the game though, being lowest only counted if they were able to deliver. HIRING THIS MOVING COMPANY WAS A BIG MISTAKE He gave me a quote for my move then showed up with a Box Truck to small to fit out families belongings. He tried to hit me with ANOTHER FEE 5K finish the job Day of MOVE. I WAS FORCED TO RENT A U-HAUL FOR $1800.00. & drive it myself, what a nightmare... Scratch the floors involve the New and the Old house. Movers "Dropped the Dresser" damaging the wall Mover was smacked in the face with the dresser causing a black Eye in front of everybody. Another extremely embarrassing moment on moving day. From the very first moment on moving day Art's Mission was to Con me and RIP ME OFF for a large sum of money on one of the most important days of our lives. I have analyzed pics he posts on Yelp, with customers who seem to be extremely thrilled, Probably After receiving a great quote. You don't see pictures of the actual move day when he hits you up for a lot of cash. I also see now that it was very strange he require a deposit and the rest of the payment before he moves you. We hired A&T Movers to load our rented U-Haul truck and take away some unwanted furniture a few days ago on Sunday the 16th.They showed up at 10am with 3 men as scheduled and another guy Dwayne the supervisor showed up a few minutes later. .They gave us a flat fee to load the truck and take away the unwanted items .We still needed a few more items packed and we ran out of boxes.They provided us additional boxes ,packing paper and tape and packed up the the remaining odds and ends and they did not charge us more money to my surprise.The person in charge Dwayne was very friendly and pleasant to deal with and after they finished loading the truck ,They tied down the furniture load very carefully so that nothing moved around and i was very impressed with that.Overall we were very satisfied with the job they did and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a moving or hauling service. read more

Awesome Awesome...I cant say enough good things about this company.My husband and i hired A&T Movers to move from our two bedroom apt in Little ferry ,NJ to Congers ,NY .They gave us a flat rate price for 3 men and a truck starting at 7 am.They showed up with 6 guys a few minutes before 7 am prepared with all their equipment .They got straight to work and didn't charge us a penny extra for the additional men .Each guy was very careful and worked very hard.I was very concerned about my paintings and glass table.They wrapped our paintings very well and our glass table was wrapped and placed in a box.The foreman in charge Dale was very polite and professional .They even put our clothes in wardrobe boxes for us and took the clothes out at our new house and hung them in our closet. This past weekend was the third time I used A&T Moving services, and I will definitely use them again! I simply cannot say enough good things about them. I needed to have the contents of a three level house moved to a home over an hour away. Arthur, the owner, came over about a week before the move and quoted a very reasonable price. On the day of the move, he came with a team of 5 men and went over everything that needed to be moved. The actual move went smoothly and without incident. I hired A & T to remove/junk a lot of furniture, ply woods, and other junk from my house in NYC. Art and his crew were friendly and professional. There was an adjustment from the initially quoted price because I removed some things from the list of stuff to be removed and also added some more things to be removed. Art came into the house to take a look and gave me a new price, which I thought was perfectly fair because I did add more things to be removed. However, note the following: Packing and moving services were both utilized. Representative came to review primary location of belongings to be moved (approx. 90-95% of the total) and was provided with a detailed video of the remaining items, stored at a different location. Despite this upfront information, (a) the total weight was significantly in excess of the estimated amount, resulting in damage to the transport vehicle and a 2-day delay, and (b) at the secondary location the supervisor informed us that there was insufficient room for everything. He had to be cajoled and convinced into making the extra effort... which proved effective and successful. A number of bookcases were damaged during while handling and required subsequent repair, at our expense. One item was a tool cabinet containing a variety of hand tools, hardware, and the like. The crew's solution to this was to simply wrap and seal the cabinet in plastic, and put it in the truck. By the time it was in place at the destination, we found that the contents were in utter chaos, luckily with minimal breakage. Some softbound oversized books were placed in boxes haphazardly or sloppily, resulting in significant creasing of wide swaths of pages. A few items additional appear to have gone missing (none of particular value) and a small number of items were broken. Overall I would in fact recommend their services, particularly in consideration of the pricing, but I would strongly recommend that if you contact them for packing services that these be closely and carefully supervised.
