I scheduled to remove a bunch of old junk from when my sons were babies. I had been seeing commercials for 1-800-GOT JUNK, and I watch a lot of hoarders . Aidan called the day of pick up informed me of when they would be here. They came as soon as they were done with their first appointment, still within my pick up window. Davonte and Aidan introduced themselves and told me how the service works. They looked at all they had to pick up, quoted me around $918, I was a bit hesitant at first but they loaded everything in about 30 minutes and ended up fitting everything into their truck. Final price was around $750, it was a lot of stuff and a few pieces of heavy furniture. I didn't even have to touch anything, the commercials are true you just point and they removed it. This company has employees that will keep your stuff and have garage sales with it to make extra money off of you. One of the employees Kyle G. Has even been dumping trash asmy moms house for years and when I called the company to come pick up the trash that they were payed to take away they won't do it. I contacted for trash removal today, April 26, 2019. Jorge and Justin arrived. Both were professional and very efficient. I had them clean out our garage. We had loads of trash and empty boxes. We also had old televisions and other odd items. I was very impressed with their demeanor and attitude. They were non judgmental and performed their duties thoroughly and quickly. Very easy service to use. I ended up sending a lot more with them than I thought I would (table, large sofa, large overstuffed chair, plus a lot of miscellaneous things from the garage). We had to clear old furniture to move new stuff in. They worked within our budget, showed up on time (slightly early, but they called half an hour ahead), and did a great job. There were some issues as to price (my elderly mother says she was quoted almost half of the minimum charge), but as I said, they worked with us and I feel we got what we paid for. A complete ripoff they overcharged for the few items I had then pick up I was told one price over the phone and charged $100 more when they got to my home there was no heavy lifting and the driver claimed he gave me a discount which was a lie I'm definitely going to spread the word to limit their business. So a manager called me after seeing this review and claimed that the general manager would call and we would talk about some reimbursement and that never happened, so please do not be fooled by them and FO NOT use their services I will post this everywhere I can think of to deter people. read more

The guys who showed up were friendly and polite. They asked about the voucher right away. Only because the manager finally intervened, otherwise would be a 1 star rating. Booked online for a Sat 8-10am pickup. Got an email confirmation saying they would call 15 min prior to the window. Nothing seen or heard by 10am. Called customer service who contacted driver. Driver called me at 10:15am to say that I was never on route and they might be able to get me Sunday. I expressed frustration and was told manager would call. Waited 20 minutes and heard nothing. Called customer service. She checked with driver and got same story I had been given. She eventually figured out that somebody manually double-booked a set of pickups in an area that made it impossible for them to get to me. She had no explanation as everything I did through the website matched what she saw for availability. I told her I had wasted a good part of my day and expected a serious discount. Driver showed up and quoted me same rate as my online promo code. I said this was unacceptable and expected some compensation for all the wasted time and misinformation. He said he was not authorized to do anything more. I told him he could either call and get authorization or leave and I'd slam them on a rating and go with another company. Eventually he offered a greater discount, but still not even half off. I sent them away and called customer service telling them they needed a better answer. Got a call from the franchise owner. Gave him a recap. We went back and forth a bit, but he eventually agreed to a significant discount, apologized for the problems, and they came and hauled it away. read more

First time using their service. I am moving and just had some household trash and boxes I didn't want to transfer myself. They have a minimum charge of 157 and that's what I got charged because I had minimal stuff and total after tax and tip was about 180 which seems a little high but considering what I would've had to pay to find somebody else to haul it and take it to the dump it was probably pretty reasonable. I set my appointment for 3 PM and they called me at about 1145 and said that they could be there by 1230 if that wasn't OK they would keep to my original time. However, that worked really well for me and they came exactly when they said they would. There were two guys Jorge and Rex, they were very nice and professional they were only here about five minutes, they gave me a quote asked if I wanted to proceed-loaded my stuff and they were on their way. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone else and I would use them if I needed to again in the future. read more

I don't know which city my guys are based in. it was an 800 number and there are 2 locations in my area. Either way the service was excellent. The two gentleman that came to my house were very polite, friendly, personable, efficient and overall good workers. They went to work and had my 3 piles of junk removed forthwith.1-800-GOT-JUNK,,,just hauled away a ton of 9 year accumulation of junk for me. Nice to open closets and see the floor for a change, open my storage sheds and see the back wall for change! They were great. Highly recommend this service. And did I say friendly? Yup I will say it again. They called me 20 minutes before arriving (which was great since they came 2 hours earlier than scheduled) and again about 5 minutes from my home. Finally got that behemoth 17 year old TV out of my house(sat here for 8 months)....way to heavy for me to carry and too large to fit in my car along with a bunch of curtain rods, old shoes, space heater, old vacuum cleaner, lawn mower, weed wacker and the list goes on.
